Can You Give Us A Push?
Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 02:00PM Now and again we get an unusual request and this is one of the best: Castle Fine Arts Foundry asked us to replicate a Tarmac roadway which was to be the base for a life-size Fiat 500 with a 5 meter long arm attached to the roof.
The car belongs to Lorenzo Quinn, the son of the famous Hollywood film star Anthony Quinn. We used Resin Surfaces Ltd Resutop in black as the binder, and Tarmac stone for the aggregate. It was applied at a thickness of 25mm to an area of 25m2.
It is now on display at the Valencia Museum in Spain to coincide with the recent Spanish Grand Prix.
